I can’t go too long without making a plug for my bookstagram. The photo above was taken by yours truly. I read The Poet X at the beginning of this year and I absolutely loved it. As a poet myself, this book spoke to me.

This Side of Home by Renee Watson

I read This Side of Home a few summers ago and it’s a book that has always stuck with me. I think about the twins quite often and I really want to read another book by Renee Watson. Her writing style is honestly beautiful.
