Captain Marvel (Movie Review)

Captain Marvel is the latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It details the story of Carol Danvers and her journey to becoming a powerful superhero. The movie takes place in the 90’s, so get ready for some serious nostalgia.

My Thoughts

First things first, this movie was absolutely AMAZING and I think everyone should go out and see it if they’re able. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this film. I loved it and there’s a high chance that I’ll go see it again, which is truly rare for me. I think this is a movie that’s better to go into knowing less.

The pacing was well done, there was never a dull moment. It also didn’t feel like an action overload either. There was a good balance between exposition and action scenes. There were also a lot of great points for humor, while still keeping that “we need to save the world” energy.

I haven’t read the Captain Marvel comics, but I could definitely follow along. Seeing the connection between Captain Marvel and Nick Fury was really cool, and it was great getting that backstory of why Marvel is Marvel. I can’t wait to see how this story continues on in Avengers: Endgame.

Have you seen Captain Marvel?

What were your thoughts?

How do you think they’ll incorporate this into the next film?
