My First Goodreads Review

Published by

on

While I was working on what would have this week’s Down the TBR Hole (sorry, I forgot to finish it), I realized that I forgot to add my recent reviews to Goodreads. Then, as I started doing just that, I realized I hadn’t added reviews for the past seven books!

Goodreads was the first place I wrote a review. It’s a big part of what got me into reviewing books in the first place, but oh how the times have changed.

It took a bit of sloothing, but I found my very first Goodreads review. It was a review of Divergent that I wrote all the way back in 2013. I was in middle school back then, I’ve been doing this since I was in middle school.

My First Review

I loved this story so much, the end had me craving more.

That’s it, that’s the review. I really thought those blurbs on the backs of books were how you were full reviews.

I’d definitely recommend doing something like this. If you decide to post your first Goodreads review, make sure to link back to me so we can cringe together.

Do you forget to post your book reviews on Goodreads?

What was your first review like?

When did you start writing reviews?

Let me know in the comments, let’s chat!

This ses so honest and cute! Sometimes it’s nice to go back and see our own progress!

For sure! I had a lot of fun doing this and I’d definitely recommend looking back to see the difference

Haha, my first reviews started like that! And now that I’m posting my reviews on my blog, I still just post one/two sentences on GoodReads haha!

Lol I usually just copy and paste my reviews to goodreads, making two reviews would be way to much πŸ˜‚
