WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday is a meme that was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived by Sam of Taking on a World of Words.

Hey y’all, I finally decided to try one of these. WWW Wednesdays are so popular in the book blogging world, but I’ve never done them before. That is, until today.

I just get worried because I’m no stranger to DNFing books, so the “what you’ll be reading next” part always made me a little anxious. I really want to experiment more with my blog and get involved with the community, so I’ll try it out this week and see where I go from there.

Without further ado, here are my answers to the three Ws.

What are you currently reading?

Dear Haiti, Love Alaine

Dear Haiti, Love Alaine

So far, I’ve been enjoying it. I’m so happy to be reading a story with a Haitian main character. This is what I dreamed of growing up and thanks to the shift towards diverse voices, it has finally come to fruition.

What did you recently finish reading?

Let Me Hear a Rhyme

Let Me Hear a Rhyme by Tiffany D. Jackson

Lumberjanes

Lumberjanes

I actually got through two books in my first week of the new year, one of them being a graphic novel. My full review for Let me Hear a Rhyme will be up this Friday and my Lumberjanes review will be up next Friday. All I’m gonna say is, the year is starting out pretty well.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine

Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman

I won a copy of this book from an Instagram giveaway and I really do want to get to it. It sounds so good and the reviews are pretty high.

That’s all for my first WWW Wednesday. How did I do?

Do you participate in WWW Wednesdays?

What are you reading?

Have you read any of these?

Let me know in the comments below, let’s chat!
