Hey y’all, I know Iβm really late to the party with these nominations. I said I was going to do one weeks ago but didnβt check when they were due, only to find out that this is the last week for nominations!
The Book Blogger Awards are being hosted by May @ Forever and Everly and Marie @ Drizzle and Hurricane Books. Make sure to check out the announcement page here.
Iβm trying to do this while listening to an audiobook for The Reading Rush so Iβm hoping that it comes out legible.
Without further ado, here are my nominations:
Best Middle Grade or Younger Book Blogger
Zezee @ Zezee with Books is always recommending great middle grade books and children’s books. She recommends other reads too but I just love those posts.
Best Book Reviews
She’s Reading Now has a blog dedicated to book reviews. She’s written quite a few and doesn’t seem to be stopping any time soon.
Lestlie @ Books Are the New Black gets straight to the point in her book reviews and I love that. I’ve added so many books to my TBR because of her.
Best Blog Aesthetic
Maisy @ Hawthorn Book Reviews has such a beautiful page. Her graphics have this beautiful yellow flower theme going and I just love to look at it.
Fadwa @ Word Wonders has such a beautiful blog. I love flowers and bright colors so this blog hits both those points masterfully for me.
Best Blogging/Writing Voice
Lila @ Hardcover Haven just has such a genuine and welcoming blogging voice. Her posts make me feel like she’s talking to a dear friend and I love her style.
Ross @ The Royal Bookshelf also has a very natural way of getting his voice to shine through in his posts.
Most Engaged in the Community
Caro @ Bookcheshirecat started a whole reading challenge! I actually haven’t updated my own reads in ages (sorry) but she’s doing amazing and I aspire to be on her level one day.
Most Creative (creative/original posts)
Ally @ Ally Writes Things is so friggin’ creative. She’s made blog posts recommending books based on emojis, law school majors, and memes.
Saoudia @ With Love, Saoudia because I love her blog. I don’t know anything about Kpop but she’s somehow made me feel like a member of the community with her post on Kpop biases as books.
Liv @ Curlyhairbibliophile is a recent addition to my list. She’s so creative when it comes to her blog posts, especially the titles. I found her through her post on audiobooks.
Best Social Media Influencer
Kristin @ Kristin Kraves Books seems to do it all! She blogs, tweets, and runs a beautiful bookstagram. All this while managing such a great aesthetic.
Friendliest Member of the Community
Sabrina @ Notes from a Paper Plane Nomad has been leaving such sweet comments on my posts. I don’t get comments that often so when I do, I truly cherish them. Sabrina is so sweet and you should definitely check out her blog.
Best at Promoting Diverse Books
Lori @ The Reading Fairy is wonderful. She actually nominated me in her post and that’s what made me decide to make one of my own. She’s always promoting books from different cultures and perspectives. She also talks about a ton of books I haven’t even heard of which is so cool to me.
Qui @ The Black Lit Queen does a great job of recommending books with representation of Black and queer authors.
That’s all for tonight. There are a ton more amazing bloggers I could (and probably should) nominate but it’s late and I need to get back to The Reading Rush. Hopefully next year I plan this out better.
