  • You Should See Me in a Crown (Book Review)

Hey y’all! It seems like everyone’s been talking about this book and for good reason. My library had over a month long waitlist for the audiobook and I’m really happy I stuck it out. I listened to this through the CloudLibrary app, as I do for most audiobooks. Trigger warnings: death of a parent, microaggressions,

    Stuck at Home Book Tag

Hey y’all! I was tagged by the lovely Mieke @ the Little Mouse that Reads. I’ve seen it floating around the blogosphere and the fact that’s it’s still relevant months later is really something. I actually have wanted to do this tag but I’ve been feeling lazy. Actually getting tagged was the push I needed.

  • Training School for Negro Girls (Book Review)

Hey y’all! This is the last book I’ll be reviewing from the readathon. Training School for Negro Girls was an interesting set of short stories. It reminded me of Heads of the Colored People which I read a few stories from for my African American Literature class last year. I actually ended up finding out
