About

Rae is a Haitian-American writer and educator, born and raised in South Florida. She received a 2018 Silver Medal in the Scholastic Art and Writing Competition for her poem “Red Blood Cell.” She earned her bachelor’s as a double major in Psychology and English with a Concentration in Multicultural and Gender Studies and her master’s in English Literature with a Specialization in Caribbean Literature from Florida Atlantic University. Her poetry has been published and/or forthcoming in Rigorous Magazine, The Anti-Languorous Project, and Strange Horizons.
